5.1 WhatsApp Business

We offer visitors to our website the opportunity to contact us via the WhatsApp messaging service provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. For this purpose, we use the so-called "Business version" of WhatsApp.

If you contact us via WhatsApp regarding a specific transaction (e.g., an order placed), we will store and use your mobile phone number used on WhatsApp and – if provided – your first and last name in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR to process and answer your request. On the basis of the same legal basis, we may ask you via WhatsApp to provide further data (order number, customer number, address or e-mail address) in order to assign your inquiry to a specific process.

If you use our WhatsApp contact for general inquiries (e.g., regarding the range of services, availability, or our website), we will store and use your mobile phone number used on WhatsApp and – if provided – your first and last name in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing the requested information efficiently and promptly.

Your data will always only be used to respond to your request via WhatsApp. No data will be passed on to third parties.

Please note that WhatsApp Business gains access to the address book of the mobile device we use for this purpose and automatically transmits phone numbers stored in the address book to a server of the parent company Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA. For the operation of our WhatsApp Business account, we use a mobile device whose address book only stores the WhatsApp contact details of users who have also contacted us via WhatsApp.

This ensures that every person whose WhatsApp contact details are stored in our address book has already consented to the transmission of their WhatsApp phone number from the address books of their chat contacts, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, by accepting the WhatsApp terms of use when first using the app on their device. A transmission of data of users who do not use WhatsApp and/or have not contacted us via WhatsApp is therefore excluded.

For the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by WhatsApp, as well as your related rights and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to WhatsApp's privacy policy: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/?eea=1#privacy-policy

Within the scope of the processing mentioned above, data transfers to servers of Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA may occur.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

5.2 When you contact us (e.g., via contact form or email), personal data is processed - exclusively for the purpose of handling and answering your request and only to the extent necessary for this purpose.

The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If your contact aims at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Your data will be deleted once it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter concerned has been conclusively clarified and provided that no statutory retention obligations conflict with this.

6) Use of Customer Data for Direct Marketing

6.1 Newsletter Registration by Email

If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we will regularly send you information about our offers. The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your email address. Providing further data is voluntary and is used to address you personally. For sending the newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure, which ensures that you only receive newsletters when you have explicitly confirmed your consent to receive the newsletter by activating a verification link sent to the email address provided.

By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent for the use of your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. In this context, we store your IP address entered by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration in order to be able to trace a possible misuse of your email address at a later date. The data we collect during newsletter registration is used strictly for the intended purpose.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link provided in the newsletter or by sending a message to the controller mentioned at the beginning. After unsubscribing, your email address will be immediately deleted from our newsletter distribution list, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to further data usage that is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this statement.

6.2 Sending of the E-mail Newsletter to Existing Customers

If you have provided us with your e-mail address when purchasing goods or services, we reserve the right to regularly send you offers for similar goods or services from our range via e-mail, similar to those already purchased. According to Section 7 para. 3 UWG, we do not need to obtain separate consent from you for this. Data processing in this respect is based solely on our legitimate interest in personalized direct advertising in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If you have initially objected to the use of your e-mail address for this purpose, we will not send you any e-mails.

You are entitled to object to the use of your e-mail address for the aforementioned advertising purpose at any time with future effect by notifying the controller mentioned at the beginning. For this, you will only incur transmission costs according to the basic tariffs. After receipt of your objection, the use of your e-mail address for advertising purposes will be stopped immediately.

6.3 WhatsApp Newsletter

If you subscribe to our WhatsApp newsletter, we will regularly send you information about our offers via WhatsApp. The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your mobile phone number.

To send the newsletter, you add our communicated mobile number to the contacts in your mobile device's address book and send us the message "Start" via WhatsApp. By sending this WhatsApp message, you give us your consent to use your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR for the purpose of sending the newsletter. We will then add you to our newsletter distribution list.

The data collected by us when you register for the newsletter will be used exclusively for the purpose of promotional communication via the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by sending us the message "Stop" via WhatsApp. After unsubscribing, your mobile number will be immediately deleted from our newsletter distribution list, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to further data usage that is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this statement.

Please note that WhatsApp gains access to the address book of the mobile device we use for sending the newsletter and automatically transmits phone numbers stored in the address book to a Facebook server in the USA.

For sending our WhatsApp newsletter, we therefore use a mobile device whose address book exclusively stores the WhatsApp contact details of our newsletter recipients.

6.4 Product Availability Notification by Email

For temporarily unavailable items, you can sign up to receive email product availability notifications. In this case, we will send you a one-time email notification about the availability of the item you selected. The only mandatory information for sending this notification is your email address. Providing further data is voluntary and may be used to address you personally. For sending emails, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure, which ensures that you only receive a notification if you have explicitly confirmed your consent by activating a verification link sent to the provided email address.

By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to use your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. In this context, we store your IP address entered by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration, in order to be able to trace a possible misuse of your email address at a later date. The data collected by us when you register for our email notification service for product availability is used strictly for the intended purpose.

You can unsubscribe from availability notifications at any time by sending a corresponding message to the controller mentioned at the beginning. After unsubscribing, your email address will be immediately deleted from our distribution list set up for this purpose, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to further data usage that is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this statement.

6.5 Shopping Cart Reminders by Email

If you abandon your purchase with us before completing the order, you have the option to receive a one-time email reminder of the contents of your virtual shopping cart.

The only mandatory information for sending this reminder is your email address.

6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR for sending a shopping cart reminder. The data collected by us during registration for our e-mail notification service will be used strictly for the intended purpose.

You can unsubscribe from shopping cart reminders at any time by sending a corresponding message to the data controller mentioned above. 7.3 Use of payment service providers

- Amazon Pay

One or more online payment methods from the following provider are available on this website: Amazon Payments Europe s.c.a., 38 avenue J.F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg

If you select a payment method from the provider where you make an advance payment (e.g., credit card payment), your payment data communicated during the order process (including name, address, bank and payment card information, currency, and transaction number) as well as information about the content of your order will be transmitted to this provider in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR. In this case, your data will be transmitted exclusively for the purpose of payment processing with the provider and only to the extent necessary for this purpose.
- Apple Pay

If you choose the "Apple Pay" payment method from Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, payment processing takes place via the "Apple Pay" function of your iOS, watchOS or macOS device by charging a payment card stored in "Apple Pay". Apple Pay uses security features built into your device's hardware and software to protect your transactions. To authorize a payment, you must enter a code you previously set and verify it using the "Face ID" or "Touch ID" function of your device.

For the purpose of payment processing, your information communicated during the order process, along with information about your order, will be transmitted to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then re-encrypts this data with a developer-specific key before the data is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay for the purpose of carrying out the payment. The encryption ensures that only the website through which the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the originating website to confirm the success of the payment.

If personal data is processed during the described transmissions, the processing takes place exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

Apple stores anonymized transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, the approximate date and time, and whether the transaction was successfully completed. Anonymization completely excludes any personal reference. Apple uses the anonymized data to improve "Apple Pay" and other Apple products and services.

When you use Apple Pay on your iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase you made on your Mac via Safari, the Mac and the authorization device communicate over an encrypted channel on Apple's servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that can identify you. You can disable the ability to use Apple Pay on your Mac in your iPhone settings. Go to "Wallet & Apple Pay" and disable "Allow Payments on Mac".

Further information on data protection for Apple Pay can be found at the following internet address: https://support.apple.com/de-de/HT203027
- Google Pay

If you choose the "Google Pay" payment method from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), payment processing takes place via the "Google Pay" application of your mobile device running at least Android 4.4 ("KitKat") and equipped with an NFC function, by charging a payment card stored in Google Pay or a payment system verified there (e.g., PayPal). To authorize a payment via Google Pay exceeding €25, prior unlocking of your mobile device via the respective verification measure (e.g., facial recognition, password, fingerprint, or pattern) is required.

For the purpose of payment processing, your information communicated during the order process, along with information about your order, will be transmitted to Google. Google then transmits your payment information stored in Google Pay in the form of a uniquely assigned transaction number to the originating website, which verifies the payment. This transaction number does not contain any information about the actual payment data of your payment methods stored in Google Pay, but is created and transmitted as a uniquely valid numeric token. For all transactions via Google Pay, Google acts only as an intermediary for processing the payment. The transaction is carried out exclusively in the relationship between the user and the originating website by charging the payment method stored in Google Pay.

If personal data is processed during the described transmissions, the processing takes place exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

Google reserves the right to collect, store, and evaluate certain transaction-specific information for every transaction made via Google Pay. This includes the date, time, and amount of the transaction, merchant location and description, a description of the purchased goods or services provided by the merchant, photos you have attached to the transaction, the name and e-mail address of the seller and buyer or sender and recipient, the payment method used, your description of the reason for the transaction, and, if applicable, the offer associated with the transaction.

According to Google, this processing takes place exclusively in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of the legitimate interest in proper accounting, verification of transaction data, and optimization and maintenance of the Google Pay service.

Google also reserves the right to combine the processed transaction data with other information collected and stored by Google when using other Google services.

The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values). The calculation of the score values includes, among other things, but not exclusively, address data.

You can object to this processing of your data at any time by sending a message to us or to the provider. However, the provider may still be entitled to process your personal data if this is necessary for contractual payment processing.

8) Site functionalities

8.1 Google Maps

This website uses an online map service from the following provider: Google Maps (API) by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”).

Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (country) maps to visually present geographical information. By using this service, our location is displayed to you and any approach is facilitated.

As soon as you access the subpages where the Google Maps map is embedded, information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) is transmitted to Google servers and stored there; this may also involve a transfer to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether a user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish for your data to be associated with your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them.
